    random shutdowns Empty random shutdowns

Post by Guest 2010-05-31, 7:51 pm

Hi, I just wanted to ask if there is a known issue with this version of sin running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit?
Because I noticed the random shutdown of my system.
And I just recently installed this OS on this certain computer, on my other computer, a windows 7 ultimate 32 bit edition, it works fine.
    see ya

No idea, I'm using it on Windows 2008 Server 64-bit fine.
And I remember seeing someone running it fine on W7 64-bit as well.

I'm running windows 7 64bit as well and I'm also having this random shut down issue =/ works fine on my brothers 32bit system but seems to turn off my system randomly. Does anyone know of a fix or a possible missing program?

when you say random, does it happen after you have your computer on for a very long time? Does it ever happen when you just turned on your computer for about 30-45 mins?

It's rare that a program will cause your computer to shut down/restart. At least in my experience. Usually it is related to hardware/heating issues.

Try to install cooling fan or changing your power supply. if it does not work it has a software and system issue. Right-click on My Computer then go to properties below the Advance Tab, go to Startup and Recovery Settings. Under that go to system failure and uncheck Automatically Restart and click OK. Hope this would work for you... nice
