    [solved]Learning Clan Skills Empty [solved]Learning Clan Skills

    Game - Jade Dynasty Ascension

    It's not major but still an issue I guess.

    After your settings ini file is created for the bot itself, not necessarily character setting's files.

    The skills in the main settings ini file didn't have Clan Skills learned when i first used it. Due to the fact none of my characters are in a clan.

    After logging onto a character that does have clan skills the skills weren't automatically updated.

    My route around this is to extract the skill data from the setting ini file from a new complete set up bot settings.ini file. To do this I had to copy the folder and delete any files except the exe. Reason I did this is so I wouldn't have to go back and learn all my current data and retype my logins. This way I can just go down to the skills in the new ini file and copy/paste them over to my old settings ini file. In which I'm hoping they will show up in the skill list.

    So if my alternative is a complicated and difficult way please let me know. Or if there's something I'm missing.

    (NVM ... Just added them to my esper bar and it recognized them)

    You still haven't read the FAQ? Do us all a favor and read it already.

    I have read them, and I have also dragged and dropped them in my 1-3 slots on my first bar. Not 2nd, not 3rd. But 1st.

    Nothing came up. Only worked when I put on the Esper Bar.

    Great, another smart ass in da house!

    Are you sure you dragged it there? I'll bet you $1000 buck if you did indeed drag it there, SINS will learn it.

    Goto Data -> Skill, delete them all, and verify it yourself.

    (Why do new users think they're all smart and shit when other people have already been using this bot for over 2 years?)

    In no way was I trying to be a smart ass in my comment.

    I simply stated what I tried and therefor did not work for me. Adding them to my esper bar did. Any smart remarks in there ?

    Your making this thread worse then it should be.

    If you actually did it as instructions given in the FAQ, by dragging it to the quickslots 1-8, it will guarantee to work.

    I call you a smart ass because you obviously didn't do as instructed but claimed that you did.

    And I say it again, goto Data -> Skills, delete all the learned skills, and do it again by following the instructions. If SINS won't learn the skill, I'll pay you $1000.

    I know how my program works. If you actually did as instructed, it would work. Otherwise, SINS won't be able to learn any skills at all.

    Only thing I claim is what I tried did not work. I have read the FAQ. I've told you what I had to do to get it working.

    And yet SINS will learn skills other ways obviously. By esper and also going into your skills menu. I believe that's in the FAQ as well.

    So regardless of what you say and how things work for "you" and maybe others. It did not for me. I relogged, wiped my settings ini, and reloaded a fresh bot. That is when I then placed them on my quick slot bar 1-3. It did not show learned in the log. That is when I tried the esper slots because if the bot has an option "Use esper quick slots" it kind of clicked in.

    So I'm not arguing with you anymore. I simply told you what I tried and what "I" had to do to get it working.

    I really hope you aren't 33 as your profile to the left of threads states. Your argumentative chat isn't going to help anything. And I'm sorry if I seem like a "smart ass" ... But I'm simply stating issue's. Not trying to prove if I'm smarter then others or define others work as wrong or right.

    You really want me to prove how stupid or smart ass you are?

    If SINS can learn the skill from esper bar then IT MUST BE ABLE TO LEARN THE skill from the quickslot.

    Do you know why? The reason is because the learning code on esper bar is actually calling the same function of learning code on quick slot.

    If quickslot learning doesn't work, then it IS NOT POSSIBLE for SINS to learn it on esper bar either.

    In your case, the only possible scenario where it didn't learn is because you already HAD the skills on the quickslots when you attached SINS to the game. If it is already on there, it won't learn. SINS only learn when you drag the skill over - which is specifically written in the FAQ.

    God, you are so fucking stupid yet still want to argue with me.

    This is the same attitude when you claimed that SINS need millisecond on timer triggers.

    I am usually a nice guy, and I am indeed 33 years old. One thing I hate most is smart asses who think they know more than they're worth.

    EDIT: Here's the actual code snippet to prove what I said:
    Code:

                    if (gamedata.dialogs.Contains("SkillList")) // press R window
                    {
                        for (int i = 0; i < gamedata.dialogs["SkillList"].Controls.Count; i++)
                        {
                            GameData.Control slot = gamedata.dialogs["SkillList"]["Slot" + i.ToString()];
                            LearnSkill(slot);
                        }
                    }
                    if (gamedata.dialogs.Contains("Quickslot"))
                    {
                        for (int i = 0; i < 8; i++)
                        {
                            GameData.Control slot = gamedata.dialogs["Quickslot"]["Slot" + i.ToString()];
                            LearnSkill(slot);
                        }
                    }
                    if (gamedata.dialogs.Contains("EsperQuickslot"))
                    {
                        for (int i = 0; i < 7; i++)
                        {
                            GameData.Control slot = gamedata.dialogs["EsperQuickslot"]["Slot" + i.ToString()];
                            LearnSkill(slot);
                        }
                    }

    Someones very persistent to prove their point.

    As I said, from my very first post, to my last.

    IT DID NOT WORK

    Maybe this was caused by frequent .Net Framework crashes I've been having with the program "Quit" / "Continue" I generally hit Continue ... But as stupid as this argument is, I'm not going to sit here and lie about this issue.

    Might as well delete and move on from this thread.

    Dude, if you are too stubborn to admit that you are a liar and idiot, then feel free to remove SINS from your system and/or not visit the forum again, because I will just continue to make fun of you.

    If you have claimed that your SINS couldn't learn the skill at all, then it is possible that your NET framework has a bug or something.

    But you have said that learning on Esper bar works, but not on Quickslot <=== this is your stupidity.

    That is the same as trying to say that 2 + 1 = 3, but 1 + 2 ≠ 3.

    I already showed you the C# code how it learns the skill. Perhaps you don't know how to program, then you can ask a 3rd person who knows C# to verify what I said.

    The reason why I drag on this thread is because I want to show everyone how stupid you are and that you are the kind of people that I like to make fun of.

    For starters, you can't really argue about what you don't know snickering and besides, vuduy's the creator, give him credit for at least answering your thread. And that frequent crash is caused by opening a client while SIN is ON.

    Oh right it's C# nice Only got to learn C++ on school and thought that only java has those kind of snippets surrender
